Ready, set, cook

I am not the best cook, but I am going to put in great effort to learn. I need to make healthy foods. I told my son we would start making something out of his cookbook each week. I want to start trying out some new things each week. I will be posting what we make.

We eat out as much as I can talk my honey into eating out, but I do want to start eating at home and trying new things.

I am excited to see what new things we come up with!

Yummy Chicken

Take Italian dressing, barbecue spice, garlic and herb spice, and onion powder and marinade the chicken breast  in it for about 3 hours. Then put the chicken in foil and cook on 350 for 1 hour and then uncover for 20 minutes.

Serve with some yummy mashed potatoes and veggies.

It is so yummy.
