Mostaccioli
Last night I made some yummy mostaccioli.
It was later in the nights so I used jar sauce.
I added onion, salt, pepper, garlic, and some sugar to the sauce.
I made corn and broccoli to go with it.
It was smelling so yummy and I was so excited, and then I realized I forgot to cook the noodles. I was laughing so hard. We were so ready to eat and then oh wait make some noodles.
It turned out to be very yummy.

Yummy Chicken
This week I made tacos.
Just meat and packet seasoning.
I made yummy Chicken.
I marinated chicken in italian dressing, garlic pepper, onion, and barbecue seasoning. I cooked the chicken at 350 for one hour covered with foil and then with the foil off for another 20 minutes.
Cabbage, stuffing, and carrots
With the chicken I made stuffing out of a box and a can of carrots. I steamed cabbage and then let it cool. I cut it up and then fried it with barbecue seasoning.
It was very yummy.

Cooking at home
I am not working outside of my house anymore so I have decided it is time to really start cooking at home. I am the order out or go out any time you can person. I would try to find a reason to go out to eat.
Now I am going to start cooking at home as much as possible. I have never really cooked much. So, this is a learning experience for me. I can not think of one thing that I cook that is amazing.
I want to start picking one thing each week at least that I have never cooked and try it out. I want to start baking also. I think it will be fun to cook with my little one also.
Starting Monday I am going to keep track of what I eat and how often I cook.
This week I made tacos and spaghetti. They were both good, but easy.
I know that if I keep going I will be a very good cook.
I will post on here to keep myself on track.

I am back
I am back. I have been off of here for a while. I am going to start trying new things and posting about them.
I really want to start making one new thing each week. I have to get my stuff together and do it.
We are back on healthy eating. I want to find new healthy recipes and also new child friendly recipes. Here we go!

Benihana
We have never tried Benihana restaurant before. We went for my son's birthday and it was pretty good.
They cook your food in front of you and kind of put on a little show. They let you throw the shrimp tails into their hat, they do tricks, and they made the rice into a cake and mickey mouse head.
We got a special for 48 dollars for two people chicken and filet mignon. It was great. They have a great Las Vegas roll sushi.
If you go to their web site you can sign up for the birthday club and you get a 30 dollar certificate for your birthday.

On track
Ok. I totally got off track on that one.
We are going to start this week.
My son and I are super excited we planted a little greenhouse garden with eggplant, pepper, tomato, and cucumber. It is a tiny kids one, but we are excited to see how it grows.
I very much want to make new things, and learn more about cooking.

Ready, set, cook
I am not the best cook, but I am going to put in great effort to learn. I need to make healthy foods. I told my son we would start making something out of his cookbook each week. I want to start trying out some new things each week. I will be posting what we make.
We eat out as much as I can talk my honey into eating out, but I do want to start eating at home and trying new things.

Yummy Chicken
Take Italian dressing, barbecue spice, garlic and herb spice, and onion powder and marinade the chicken breast in it for about 3 hours. Then put the chicken in foil and cook on 350 for 1 hour and then uncover for 20 minutes.
Serve with some yummy mashed potatoes and veggies.
